ironmang
hi,Me and 2 of my buddies are heading out to vegas from 10/13 - 10/16.We're trying to figure out where to stay. We want to on the strip. The better the hotel the better, but we're willing to stay anything thats 3-5 *'s. We're willing to pay $900 for the 3 nights, $300 per person...So far we were looking at the Venetian at quickbook which was $830(for the 3 nights)yesterday ... but now is $953 !!Any other suggestions ? If we could get the bellagio for that much it would be great!, or if we got a lesser hotel but a better room that would be cool too.The most important point is the location, we want to be right on the strip.Any help greatly appreciated!Mike Link to comment
thereuare
First you need to decide if you're comfortable bidding on a room only guaranteed for double occupancy for the three of you. If so you can try Priceline, if not, Hotwire may be an option.A Hotwire search for 2 adults shows a 5* (believed to be the Venetian) for $240/nite (well under your maximum after taxes and fees)... change the search to 3 adults and price goes to $280/nite (little higher than your maximum after taxes and fees). If you're willing to try for the '2 adult' scenario above you could also try to beat this price on Priceline. If successful, do note that the Venetian often charges $30 to upgrade to a room with 2 beds... otherwise there is a pull-out couch in addition to the one bed. Not sure how you're planning the sleeping arrangements.Let us know if either of the above works or if you have any additional questions. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
