Congrats on your Langham bid. I was looking to book that hotel too, and just so that you know for next time, it is also a good idea to check a hotel's website for offers and discounts and compare those rates to Priceline's before bidding. Right now, the Langham is having a special that if you book 4 nights, you get (I think it was) 30% off. For the dates I looked at in July, that came to $229 a night. Also the regular taxes (though very high at 14.45%) are lower than what Priceline charges. Either way, the rates are close enough to what you are getting and $242 is still a great rate for that hotel. Have a great trip!

As per my reply to your previous post, rates are date specific, so what offers and rates are available for your own dates do not necessarily apply to somebody elses dates.

The 30% off offer are not valid and blacked out for the OPs dates... and best rate on their website for the dates above average over $350+ per nite, making their $242 win an excellent deal (imo).
