We were hoping for not the Holiday Inn... we've been staying downtown, but we're heading to Six Flags, and wanted to stay closer to there for tomorrow night. I think I could have gotten it for less (there's a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $53 for either this hotel or the Towneplace Suites, but I'll bet it's this one), but we waited until the night before we needed it to start bidding. First bid at $40 was rejected, so used Hazelwood to rebid at $50. Free parking is key - I don't know why anyplace in downtown St. Louis persists with parking charges when they should be working hard to attract folks downtown, but they do. Anyway, free breakfast, free internet, free parking, with tax totaling $65.59... it's a better deal than the Days Inn is advertising, so we're good to go! Link to comment
