Thanks for the reply. When clicking book now then looking at amenities i still see the shorter list and i can no loner see their "hints" as to what hotel it is. The reason I would like to identify is that my parents are currently booked at the Holiday Inn port of Miami for those dates for 225/night and I was hoping to find it on Hotwire for a better rate and thought this might be it. Otherwise we would be looking at priceline but we are hoping for the HI POM. I thought I had it narrowed down but now this short list of amenities has me second guessing, as it definitely has an outdoor pool which is missing from the list.

Also, I thought it was Holiday Inn POM because of the self service laundry option which I dont see as an option with other hotels in the area and star class. Wondering if I should take the risk and book and hope for the best.

Let's back-up a minute...

You need two rooms in addition to the room that your parents have already booked for themselves, or would one of these rooms be for your parents? Is their reservation at $225/nite refundable?

Sorry about the confusion. They have a room booked through CAA which is refundable (as they prefer to be able to change plans) but a very good rate. The normal rate is $225 and we want to stay there as well but cant afford to pay full price. I was hoping this hotel was HI POM so we could stay at the same place but wanted help to identify if you thought it was indeed the Holiday Inn.

They have another couple travelling with them, as do we, hence the need for a quad room. Thanks

So we know exactly how many rooms/guests you need, if you can see what you believe to be the Holiday Inn would your parents cancel their room as well as rebook at the lower rate, or are they only willing to stay at this property and not willing to take any risk of it being a different hotel and/or are not willing to book a non-refundable reservation at this point in time?

Is their room for quad occupancy too or do they have one room for each couple traveling?

The original search for 4 people with 1 room is all that is needed.

My parents and their friends are booked at the HI POM directly thought the hotel in a quad room and are staying there for sure as they have a special rate and do not need to rebook-we are not rebooking for them, they are keeping their current reservation as is.

The reason I posted was to find out if this hotel I found on hotwire might in fact be the HI POM, so myself and 3 others are able to stay at the same hotel on the same dates as them as we are travelling together but we do not have access to the special rate they have.

Sorry I wasnt more clear. They are staying there regardless of what we are doing. We just wanted to see if this was the same hotel as would would like to stay at the same place and wondered what the chances of it being the HI were as it looked promising.

The above is the amenity set i originally saw when searching HOTWIRE for your dates and i believe this may be the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. HOWEVER, i'm not currently seeing this offered when searching for your dates and 4adults, i'm seeing the 3 amenity hotel you previously saw and can't say with any degree of certainty if this is the same hotel or not.

Just did a search again today for same dates-Jan23-25/2014 for 4 adults in downtown miami and found a 3 star hotel that was the Holiday Inn port of Miami. It had the full set of the amenities listed as you originally saw and we went for it. Managed to get it for $316 US for the 2 night stay, compared to 509 US through the hotel. Thanks for all your help!
