Welcome to BetterBidding!

This hotel has not yet been identified.

However, is this for a pre-cruise stay? If so, i would also look at the Downtown area where for just $5 more than this selection you will see what is believed to be the Amerisuites offered, which is probably a better deal than the unknown 2.5* above.

Let us know your thoughts and if we can be of additional help.

A room at the Amerisuites can certainly accomodate 3 people. As long as one person is willing to sleep on the pull-out sofa you could make this purchase for just two people (at $73/nite) and hope that your request for a room with two beds is honored.

This is something i would feel comfortable doing, but it's not my stay, and you have to be comfortable with the above. Others on the board have done this without any reported problems.

Bid $55 for 2.5* FLL downtown 3 days ago on priceline, rejected. Was offered a chance of adding $15 to the bid, but since I wasn't leaving until next week, I chose to wait 72 hrs to bid again. Tried today, got the Amerisuites in downtown for $60 + 14.55 taxes and fees. Pretty good considering the best price on hotwire was $76 pre tax, and $135 pre tax with AAA on the amerisuites site. Does anyone know if they provide shuttle service between FLL and the hotel, and then to the cruise port? Couldn't find this on their site.

Did this through the savingsbarn link. Many thanks for your assistance.

Congratulations on your win!

Glad you gave it a shot and saved (more than) a few dollars... looss like a great deal.

You can call the hotel now, if you haven't already, and put in a request for the bedding configuaration would like (ie- 2 queens)

Policies change, but las i heard was that this hotel still does offer shuttle service from the airport as well as to the pier (but the shuttles to the pier can be quite a mess if lots of ships leaving on your embarkation day... if that's the case you can take an inexpenisve cab ride and not deal with te hassle)

Enjoy your stay and have a great cruise... and thank you for using the SavingsBarn.com links for your purchase. :)
