ts68
Been looking many hours for a hotel room under $200 (preferably as low as possible) from Oct 9 - 15 (6 nights), dates somewhat flexible, for me/my husband/5 yo son (he can sleep in a king with us). Ideal neighborhoods are LES or Soho-Tribeca. Also good are Financial District, Empire State Building, Midtown East. Looking for 4 star or up - or 3-1/2 star or up if I'm delusional about 4 star or up for that kind of rate in October.I was also interested in knowing what might be the lowest rate possible during that time period for the Holiday Inn in LES.thanks in advance for any advice! AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The issue with PRICELINE is that specific bedding is not guaranteed - king beds are often an upgrade in NYC given that room sizes are commonly very small. Additionally, there is no way to bid for a particular property.HOTWIRE is a better choice for a party of three, as you can indicate the amount of people in the party and get some sort of bedding for the entire party. Is your desired budget $200 "all-in" or $200 + taxes/fees? In terms of the 4* level, $200 may be difficult but I don't think you're terribly far off. Unfortunately, this is traditionally a pretty busy time of year.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
