nir_100 Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Hello,im trying to bid via PRICELINE for an 4 * hotel in union square or nob hill or suma area for 9/10/2013-9/14/2013.my bid was 205$ per night and rejected... I also tried 3.5* hotel at the same area for 185-190 and rejected.I really dont know why the prices is so high at that time (maybe the america cup?).i would be happy to get some bidding tips, is it to earley to bid?thanks,Nir

thereuare Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Rates aren't that much higher then you have already bid... you could book the highly rated Hotel Monaco for $239/nite without any guessing and know that you're getting an excellent rated hotel.Otherwise if you've bid up to your limit there isn't much more you can do other than wait it out and continue to try every 3-4 days and hope for lower prices in the weeks ahead.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated on your progress and let us know if we can be of further help along the way.
