Trying to book a hotel for 7/31-8/5. The hotel is listed on hotwire as 3.5 stars in the Chicago Loop-Theater District area for 182 a night (so I want to make sure it's worth it)

The amenities are:

It has a 95% rating and is a 4/5 on Trip Advisor. Help?

For the first and last hotels, If you go back to HOTWIRE and click this offer from the search results page, then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more than what you've posted above?.

For the 4* MMN-WT, I'd guess the Drake or possibly Sutton would be possibilities. A lesser possibility would be the Public.

These date/s are more expensive due to the Lollapalooza Festival on 8/2-4. You could likely do moderately better splitting your stay (7/31-8/2 + 8/2-5) versus looking for 7/31-8/5 together. This would, however, most likely mean having to switch hotels. Additionally, given that people are going to want to be near the concert in Grant Park, I'd stay away from hotels South of the river, which are going to go during this period for a premium.

Thank you so much for that information, ArronJB! Did not know that Lollapalooza was also going on, now the rates make sense. I'm going to look into splitting up the dates. The amenities I listed are from the "show all amenities" section.

If you do not mind splitting the stay, I'd consider it for these date/s - it will quite possibly result in different hotels than what is seen above, though. Let us know your thoughts (full stay vs splitting) and listings of interest. Again though, I'd suggest staying North of the river, especially for the back half of the stay, given that demand for Loop hotels is likely to be greater (and premiums over usual rates vs Michigan Ave hotels are likely to be seen) given demand for Lollapalooza ticket holders to be closer to the concert.

Thanks for the follow-up, one more question if i may...

HOTWIRE is testing some new interfaces and from another user's report i'm thinking that the new interface may not be showing the full list of amenities (even after clicking the 'See all' link)... if you check your confirmation email for this purchase do you still only see the NINE amenities above or is there a longer list showing?
