NYCinLV Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 My friends and I are lookinf for a place to stay from 06/27-06/30. We currently have rooms at the Luxor for which we paid about $100 but we were wondering if we could get a better hotel at a similar price. I used hotwire.com and came up with this for $100 a night in the Strip North Area. Any idea what this could be? We don't mind cancelling our reservation at the Luxor if we can get a better hotel at a similar price. The list of amenities include:Free Parking Pet friendly Casino Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s)Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet AccessGolf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower We are looking for something that is on the strip - either North or South. The original price for this hotel is $245Also, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but would Priceline's NYOP tool be a better option? Thanks!
thereuare Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! This property matches previous reports for the Westin Casuarina so that would be my best guess for this one.How many guests will there bet in total for the two rooms? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. NYCinLV Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 Thanks for your response! There will be three guests in one room. My apologies - I meant We have A room at Luxor - not rooms.
NYCinLV Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 I am trying to book a hotel for 06/27-06/30 using PRICELINE EXPRESS deals tool and would greatly appreciate any help I can get in identifying these hotels. I already have a room booked for three adults at Luxor that I paid around $100 for but I am trying to see if I can get a better hotel at around the same price. 1. 4 Star Hotel in the Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South Area - $106/nightAmenities include:Indoor/Outdoor PoolRestaurantBusines CenterCasinoFitness CenterRated 7.0Resort Fee: 22.40 per night2. 4 Star Hotel in the Las Vegas Strip North Area - $119/nigAmenities include:Indoor/Outdoor poolFree ParkingRestaurantCasinoFitness CenterBusiness CenterRated 7.0Resort Fee:$28 per room per night3. 4 Star Hotel near Las Vegas Strip East - $94/nightIndoor/Outdoor PoolFree ParkingPets AllowedRestaurantBusiness CenterCasinoFitness CenterRated 7.0Resort Fee: 22.34 per room per nightAny help would be greatly appreciated. thereuare Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 All PRICELINE products (Name Your Own Price bidding, priceline express, and 'retail' offerings) are only guaranteed for double occupancy, which means that you could receive a room with only one bed when using PRICELINE EXPRESS. While you could call the hotel after you make your purchase and request a room with two beds, there is no guarantee that they will be able, or willing, to honor your request (and if they can there may be an additional charge since many Vegas hotels now charge more for rooms with 2 beds vs. 1 bed). Is this a risk you're willing to accept? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
