worldtraveler Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 Hi!New here (and to Priceline) and I thought I'd share since I haven't seen much on Spain.I bid $130 for "Old Madrid" only, and it was rejected. They counteroffered with $147.I rebid using 3 star "East" and $135 and it was accepted.Total is $154.54 including tax.I'm very happy with this as I really wanted to stay in this hotel (will be the last night of my trip) and the least expensive rate on the Westin website was $262 (210 euro) plus tax per night.Hope I did this right. :) WT

worldtraveler Posted September 22, 2005 Author Report Posted September 22, 2005 Thanks for the welcome!Yes, the property is in the Old Madrid - Bourbon Madrid zone. Sorry, I realized after I posted that I should have included the zone in the title.According to that "other" bidding website (where the admin is so mean I refuse to post) that's the only 5 star in that region. Now I see from your site that the Hesperia is also an option? However, I haven't seen that come up listed as a winning bid anywhere. You have a great website here! Thanks!WT
