Hotwire Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (South Strip) MGM Grand

I think that the Luxor is listed on Hotwire for $130. It's also listed on sidestep for those dates for $141.98. That's my backup. I'm not too picky about location but I'd like to be on the strip.

I'm willing to spend up to $200 per night depending on the hotel. Any suggestions for the best deal on the strip for those dates?

ps. I've tried the las vegas checker, EasyClickTravel and quickbook.

ps. any bidding advice for the Venetian? Their website lists those dates @ $299 per night. I just bid up to $150 (starting at $100 and adding $5/10 increments) with no luck.

With the Venetian at $299 it will likely take more than $200 to have success via priceline.

I think the best deal for your dates is at the Monte Carlo for $123/nite (which is much better than the Luxor for $130 strictly based upon location alone)

As a follow up, here's what I did -

Booked via hotwire ( I mixed up the MGM [no resort listed] and Luxor but I'm satisfied with the results):

MGM Grand - 10/19-10/21

1 room(s) @ $128.00 per night x 2 night(s) $256.00

Hotel Taxes and fees: $28.11

Total Price $284.11

Given the two i would much prefer the MGM over the Luxor... locationwise is much better.

I'm bummed I didn't see that $69 promotion. I could have had the same room at the MGM for $69 a night. :)
