bikermunda Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 I flew into upstate new york on a last minute business travel with my wife. Now we are planning to spend 2 nights in the city but does not want to pay too much money for it since we will be outside most of the time. Can someone please help me find the best deal possible for the cheapest money. The only thing i will be worried about it the location should be friendly and not shady by any means
yellowdog Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding :) You need to give us some clue about your budget/night, star rating for the hotel and location.Would you like to go with PRICELINE or HOTWIRE for your stay? If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive. Also read this link: I've never used Priceline or HotwireLet us know your thoughts and we'll go from therePlease use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog.
bikermunda Posted December 7, 2017 Author Report Posted December 7, 2017 I actually ended up staying with the friends for this trip
AaronJB Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Thank you for closing the thread. Hope you enjoyed your stay. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
