Priceline Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown) Westin Harbour Castle

I was recommended to this site by a friend because I was considering bidding on a Hotel in Toronto using priceline and was told I should check this site out to get an idea of how much I could actually get a good hotel for.

I am new to priceline so I am kind of nervous about doing it. I guess one of my questions is, since I have never been to Toronto, what are the good areas to stay in that my Girlfriend and I can have access to a lot of things to do without jumping into a Taxi everytime. Also, my girlfriend does not have a passport, I heard a birth certificate would suffice for border crossing. Is that true?

If I were to put like 75 dollars a night for a 4 star hotel in Toronto Downtown. Would I be given a choice of hotels to choose from or would there only be one or none at all?

What are some really nice 4 star hotels in Toronto?

Your first step should be a to do a little research to find out what type of things you'd like to do while in Toronto. Find out the location of these things and compare them to the different zones on Priceline's map of the ara (i'm guessing "downtown" is where you will want to be, but don't know your specific plans)

Once you have figured out which zone(s) you'd be happy staying in, let us the zones and the date(s) of your stay and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow to bid for it. Whether your above price of $75 is acceptable will depend upon the dates of your stay... it could be too much, it could be not even close.

The Sheraton Centre can usually be had for $62 a night. I have been there many times, and it is in a great location.
