Priceline Hotel: Priceline bidding help - key west

Looking for travel to Key West July 3 -5. Started bidding 175 on 3.5 star on PRICELINE and was rejected. Any tips from there? Expected range i should go up to win zone? I would like to stay at the 3.5 or 4 star level with a budget in the lows 200s a night.

This is notoriously a tough zone to win and i can't imagine that the July 4th holiday will make it any easier.

When bidding 3.5* in Key West you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

The bidding is getting out of our price range. We see $168 a night for a 2.5 star priceline express hotel. free breakfast, free internet, pool, free parking, restuarant, business center. Trip advisor rating4/5. Our best guest is the fairfield inn? any thoughts? Will use proper link to purchase if we decide to go this route.

Yes, Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Key West would be a guess for this property.

Yes, as noted above, Key West is notoriously a tough place to get a great deal.
