Maxi Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 I've just checked out the priceline hotels available in Rancho Mirage but they're listed as resort & don't have any star ratings. What do I have to do to bid on these resorts. When I checked out the Priceline site for Rancho Mirage there's only 3 * upscale.
thereuare Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 I'm assuming your looking at the "Shop and Compare" section of priceline where you see the Resort... this uses a different 'pool' of hotels than the opaque service, so not all hotels offered (ie- Resort) will necessarily be offered thru the Name Your Own Price service. Maxi Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 First of all I checked out the hotel list on this site for Priceline Palm Springs & saw that among the hotels listed there were a few resort hotels in Rancho Mirage; Renaissance Esmeraldo, Hyatt Grand Chapion etc. Then I went over to the Priceline site & thought I'd start bidding. I clicked on the Rancho Mirage zone & saw that the highest level of hotels was 3*upscale. Is this the level for the resort hotels ?Thanks
thereuare Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Look under the line where you would select 1* and you'll see the ability to select a Resort property. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Maxi Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 Thanks thereuare, I can't beleive I didn't see that before, maybe I'm so used to looking at the top. Anyway, my last bid of $100 was rejected, I'll try again in a few days & up it.
