Sota327
Started bidding for 4* in this zone way low at $30, so low in fact the system kicked me out after two bids and offered me regular rates. Started again at $35 and kept adding free rebid zones, when I reached $50 I got $60 counteroffer, declined and bid 3 more times going up by $1 each bid and won at $53. I thought it would have won the Hilton (and for a little less) as it was advertised on Priceline for $89. But this will work too. Here are the details:Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $53.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: $53.00Taxes & Fees: $15.93 Total Charged to Card: $68.93 Used PRICELINE link to search and bid. Link to comment

calpurnia78
Do you think it was slightly cheaper than mine - which I did also yesterday for June 27th downtown 4 stars- I got $56 - my $53 $54 $55 bids were rejected- because yours is a weekend night? Link to comment
AaronJB
Rates can vary (sometimes quite a bit) from day-to-day and weekend-to-weekend. Rates are really a case-by-case basis and not weekend vs weekday.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
