blazesboylan Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Hey guys,Longtime HOTWIRE user with a question about a hotel that seems to have just popped up. The vitals:4 star/BACK BAY/COPLEY SQUARECheck-In: Friday July 5thCheck-Out: Wednesday July 17th$136 per room, per night85% satisfactionFree Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in showerThis doesn't entirely match up with this site's 4 star Back Bay descriptions. Hotwire also now lists the Sheraton as a 4 star hotel in this area. I've stayed there multiple times in the past, and many of these amenities match up with my experience. But there's no pool listed, which is one of the major features of the hotel. Anyone have a guess?
thereuare Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!Hotwire also now lists the Sheraton as a 4 star hotel in this area.If you've purchased this property in the past as a 4* hotel can you please add your win to the board so that we can update the Hotwire Hotel List with the new star rating for this property... you can still view the complete details of your previous purchase(s) by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.As far as the 4* hotel above, best guess for this one would be The Colonnade. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. We look forward to hearing about, and helping with, your future travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
blazesboylan Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 My last win with The Sheraton (sometime last December) still had it at 3.5*. Didn't know if Hotwire changed the rating since then. Thanks for the tip on The Colonnade, but have they changed their internet policy? Last I checked, they still charged for internet access, and this amenities list trumpets the free internet feature.
or30313 Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 I'm trying to figure out the same thing...I found this on The Colonnade's website:"Join the I-Prefer Global Guest Benefit Program and receive a room upgrade, complimentary Internet access and a welcome gift each time you visit The Colonnade Hotel. The I-Prefer program will reward you each time you stay at a Preferred Hotel Group hotel. Visit the website today to become a member and start earning your rewards. Enroll now!"I don't know if that counts as free Internet or not. Last time I stayed at a Klimpton hotel, that offers the same benefit, and it got me free Internet even though I booked through Hotwire (or was it Priceline?).
