Used BiddingHelper.com.com to cut the cost down on this expensive, mid-week stay.

* Tried 5* and 4.5* bids first just to see what I could get. Bid up to $210 for both.

* Then switched to 4* BH + BC/TD + BHF/A + CS/BB + SD/CC.

* Began bidding @ $150. Rebid in increments of $10 up until $200.

* Then bid $205, then $210.

* Bid accepted by the Revere Hotel @ $210 w/ no counteroffers.

* Backup bid was at the Revere for $245. It was the best deal I could find.

* Hotwire rate for a hotel matching the Revere was $235.
