bsm20 Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 Hi all-I'll be travelling to Chicago on July 18th and staying in town until the evening of the 21st. Trying to do this thing on a budget so after taking a spin through some of the hotels available on the various travel sites, I decided bidding via Priceline is likely my best option if I don't want to end up staying on a runway at O'Hare. It's been a while since I've used Priceline so I'm not sure how to begin. Does anyone have any strategies or price points for the Magnificent Mile, River North or Loop? I'd love to get a crazy deal on something fancy but will take anywhere from 3.5 stars on. Thanks for reading!

bsm20 Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 Thanks for your reply! Actually clicked through via some of your links last night while I was browsing and will certainly do so when ready to make my final purchase.I'd say my MAX per night is $150 for a 4* or above and obviously less than that for a 3.5*. Neighborhood is least important although I do need to be in one of the three I mentioned. If I could get the whole thing done for $500 or less with all 3 nights and fees included, it would make my year.
