JimJimJim Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 I am planning to stay for these 6 days (18th Nov to 24th Nov) and I don't know what strategy should I use. It's 6 night stay and I want to stay close to SF Marriot in downtown so I think USE is the zone that I should select. I am not familiar with SF, so if USW or Civic center are close enoguh to Marriot, I can stay there also. I would prefer to stay in 3* and above and I would like to spend not more than $70. Please help me here. Thanks.
thereuare Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Use our PRICELINE MAPS for this area to see first-hand which zones/hotlels are closest to the Marriott.... please confirm the zone(s) you're willing to bid. Also, can you raise your maximum bid to $75 where you might have a chance for a 4 star? JimJimJim Posted September 20, 2005 Author Report Posted September 20, 2005 Thank you. I have gone through the maps. My first preference is USE and second is USW. Also, I don't want to increase my bid beyond 70. If I get a 3 star in USE at around $60/night , I am happy. Please let me know is this possible? thank you.
thereuare Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Assuming price is more important than USE or USW, this is how i would bid, with the one re-bid zone you have at the 3* level (if you're not familiar with re-bidding please read PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zone with the board.Select 3* USE...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* USW...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* USE and USW...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70.Any questions feel free to ask.Do keep in mind that your bid for a 3* property can be upgraded to a Boutique class property.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
