bailey44
I am trying to figure out what hotel this is? Venetian?5 Star Hotel in Las Vegas Strip North Area for $128/nightGuaranteed Amenities:Indoor or Outdoor PoolFree ParkingRestaurantBusiness CenterCasinoFitness CenterMy dates are 07/03/2013 - 07/06/2013. I have a 10% off coupon code from a previous priceline stay so total price would be $407.How much lower do you think I could get if I just bid? $117 Bid gets me to $407 so it would have to be lower than that. Also, has anyone had any trouble requesting a King bed if this turns out to be the Venetian? Thanks. thereuare
Both the Venetian and the Palazzo have been seen with this amenity set so either of these would be my best guess for this one.How much lower do you think I could get if I just bid? $117 Bid gets me to $407 so it would have to be lower than that.If you bid on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid... are you only interested in the Venetian or are you willing to accept any 5* property? We have also see situations where users can not do better than the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal by bidding (and examples of users who have done better by bidding) so it's unknown if you can/can't do better than the current priceline express rate. If you're willing to accept any 5* hotel in this zone why not try bidding up to $117/nite and then if rejected take the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal? If you need a suggested bidding strategy for this let us know. Also, has anyone had any trouble requesting a King bed if this turns out to be the Venetian?King bed is the standard room at both the Venetian and the Palazzo so i wouldn't expect there to be any issues... it's usually requesting two queen beds that can become an issue or incurs an additional fee. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. thereuare
Do I make another post for my results or do I just post at the end of this thread. You should use the EDIT TO REPORT WIN button on the lower right corner of this page to report your win.Are you looking for a specific hotel in this area OR will you try bidding for a lower price regardless of what this PRICELINE EXPRESS property is? What is the deciding factor to go with the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal vs. bidding and naming your own price? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. bailey44
I started bidding on a 5* Las Vegas Strip (North) at $100 and went up to $114 using all the free zones. Bid was not accepted.Went with Priceline Express Deal of $130 with 10% coupon code. Ended up around $119 a night. I went ahead and got the room since the express deal had increased from $128 to $130. Good to know that you can use the ratings to figure out which hotel it is. Thanks for all your help. Link to comment
