videousaf Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 We want to go to Las Vegas and stay in a resort hotel that has parking and includes parking (or cheap parking) and a nice pool (like Mandalay Bay LOL). We have two teenagers with us and staying on the strip is not that important. Free breakfast would be awesome but there are limited choices I understand!Travel dates are check-in on Thursday June 13 and out on June 15th. We can stay at Circus Circus for around $100 for the two nights through traditional booking methods, but we would spend up to $150 for the two nights, but need assurances we can sleep 4. My teens really don't want to sleep in the same bed, so two beds plus a rollaway or even two rooms would be ideal. I am ready to commit and pay TODAY and will click the links.
thereuare Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 You're going to have to choose what is important to you as many of the amenities/features you mention above are often not generally found together...PARKING - almost all Las Vegas hotels offer free parking. However, you'll need to be aware that most strip hotels now charge resort fees.POOL - for the most part off-strip hotels are 'just hotels' and don't have the luxurious type of pools that you'll find at the resorts on the strip, so this is a trade-off that you'll need to decide exactly what you want for this trip.FREE BREAKFAST - doesn't really exist in Vegas except at the mid/budget oriented chains that serve breakfast chain-wise, but again, these are not going to have an over the top pool area that you mention you're seeking.BEDS - this is going to be your biggest obstacle is separate beds for your boys is a need (vs. a want). You can get guarantee accommodations for four people in one room by using HOTWIRE and searching for 2adults/2children, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed or rollaway brought into the room. Even if you are able to receive a room with two separate beds, there is now way to ensure a separate 3rd bed in the form of a sofabed (and sometimes rollaways are not allowed in two bedded rooms). Two rooms would be a good solution, but will surely put you outside of your $150 budget (which i'm assuming is what you're looking to spend total for the two nites)Does your Circus Circus rate include a room with two beds and an allowable rollaway brought into the room (or an included sofabed)? Also, this is lacking the resort-style pool that you mentioned you're seeking for this trip. This property is also not in the same class as the Mandalay Bay that you also referenced above. What aspects of your 'wants' above are most important and how firm is your budget? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.
