rrratina Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Hi - I have been bidding (about 5 times now through your link!) for a 4 star in FW. My max bid has been 160.00 today. I tried today also for 3 nights in FW as I am willing to split my stay - hopefully at least 3 nights FW and 2 nights US area. Would appreciate some help in bidding. Looks like I have been bidding way too low for this area? Thanks.

thereuare Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 Even if SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID i think $160 may be difficult for a 4* hotel for these dates (or a sub-set of these dates). At current rates I'm guessing that you'll need to be closer to $200+ for a 4* hotel in the Fisherman's Wharf zone... although a 4* hotel in the USE zone may be had for around the $160 level you have already been bidding (but if not successful SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID for two different hotels within the USE seems like it may be likely)Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. rrratina Posted June 2, 2013 Author Report Posted June 2, 2013 Hi - thanks for the info. I tried 3.5 star at $130.00 - no luck. What would my range for bidding be for FW for a 3.5 or a 3 star? Thank you again.
thereuare Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 For the complete stay? At the moment i'm guessing about $170-$190... near the low end of the rage for the 3* and near the higher end of the range for a 3.5*.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. rrratina Posted June 19, 2013 Author Report Posted June 19, 2013 Well....I went ahead and bid at financial district and got Le Meridien for 160.00. I know someone got it cheaper than me for later dates but this works for us. Thanks for all you do here. Much appreciated.
