Priceline Hotel: Declining Resort Fees at Venetian/Palazzo

I've read that The Venetian and the Palazzo offer guests the option of declining the resort fee and will instead charge guests for individual amenities (gym, internet, etc) if they are used.

Does anyone know if this option is available to guests who book those hotels on Priceline and not direct through the hotel?

We have members that booked with PRICELINE that got the option to wave the resort fee. I have also seen that guests that booked with HOTWIRE got this option at the hotel.

But I don't know much more about this.

I've been able to decline resort fees at Palazzo 3 different trips; however, i wasn't booked through priceline, but I'm sure they'll do it. Palazzo seems the best at letting go of the vice grip on our nuts.

I've tried at a few other hotels and was unable to do this.
