Priceline Hotel: San Diego (Coastal) 4* Help

Hi, I'm trying to bid on a 4* San Diego (coastal) hotel for June 14-15. I started by bidding at $95, and by adding various zones, rebidding, all the way up to $150, with no success. I've used the PRICELINE link from this site each time and was wondering if I should have a different strategy? Looks like normal rates are about $250/night right now, so I'm surprised my bid for $150 wasn't accepted.

There is no longer a 'Coastal' zone on PRICELINE, can you please clarify which zone, by PRICELINE name, it is that you're bidding?

At current rates i think you'll more likely need a bid in the $180-$200 area for a win at the 4 star level?

What is your maximum bid for this trip?
