Priceline Hotel: Hawaii 7/1-3 & 7/6-11

Hi -

I'm looking to book a 3*-5* property in Hawaii in July and am looking for advice on the best time to book. Prices are relatively stable via the express deal site and I'm assuming there is a point in time that getting a priceline deal is more likely (1 month out? 2 weeks out?).

Honolulu - 7/1-3

Maui - 7/6-11

Any help on timing and bidding prices would be greatly appreciated.
