Hotwire Hotel: Help ID a 3.5* and 4* Hotel Dupont Circle - National Zoo

Hi everyone,

I previously booked a refundable Hotel Helix reservation for a Family Wedding 6/1-6/3

However, scouring Hotwire Today, I came across 2 hotels that might meet my criteria and be cheaper.

They are:

$64/night

4-star Hotel in Dupont Circle - National Zoo

Recommended by 90% of Hotwire Customers

Pet friendly

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Accessible for the blind

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

My guess for this is the Omni, though I thought I read on the boards earlier that it could also be the Washington Hilton in Dupont.

The second hotel:

For the Dupont Circle property my guess would be the Hilton Washington and Towers... for the 3.5* my guess would be the Embassy Row Hotel.

I don't find any of those properties to be really worth a change.

However there is a Georgetown/Foggy Bottom Hotel that I've never seen on the board before. It's 4* and we currently have nothing listed with that in the hotel list. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

This listing has not been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'd guess it may be an upgraded Westin Georgetown w/a slightly different amenity set than has been previously seen.

I'm debating whether to roll the dice right now. It's a great price, and the Westin isn't that far from Dupont Circle. I'm definitely walked that before.

I guess my fear is that it could be the Melrose, which is not nearly as nice as the Westin or Hotel Helix. Decisions, decision.

I see listed on Google reviews that someone said the Hotel Melrose had been listed as 4* on Hotwire, and they were very disappointed with their stay.

I agree that the best guess for this 4* Georgetown/Foggy Bottom property would be the Westin.

I don't think it's the Melrose as the HOTWIRE hotel offered shows a 4.0/5.0 TA rating whereas the current TA rating of the Melrose is 3.5/5.0.
