Priceline Hotel: Vancouver 6/29 and 7/26-7/28

Need some assistance for 4* Vancouver downtown hotel for 1 night on 6/29 and 2 nights on 7/26-7/28.

Noted some recent posts with winning bids at $125-128 but I tried to bid up to $140 and still got rejected. Ideal price range is $130ish.

Any tips?

We'll use this thread for the 6/29 stay. Please start a new thread for the 7/26-28 stay. Looking at the 6/29 stay, prices definitely seem on the high side - what would be the absolute max you would go to at the 4* level before looking at lower star ratings? Are there any other acceptable zone/s?
