Priceline Hotel: san francisco hotel

I'd like to find a hotel in San Francisco for the night of July 30. 4* preferred near Union Square but 3* and other areas are OK if they are in the city. Since I'll be with my daughter it has to be in a safe area. Any ideas on a sensible Priceline bid for that date?

If I could get something in the $100 - $120 range that would be good.

At current rates i think these are the price you're likely facing:

4* Union Square: $145-$165

3.5* Union Square: $125-$145

3* Union Square: $115-$135

To be in the $100-$120 range i think you may need to be looking at/near the airport or near the Civic Center area.

Tried both Union Square West and East at $115 but no luck.
