lindzm Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 Using your HOTWIRE link, I searched for a Toronto West area hotel and I would like assistance in identifying which one it is.4* Toronto WestStaying two nights: May 31 & June 1, 2013139 USD/nightAmenities:Indoor pool(s)Fitness CenterRestaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet AccessAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomCan I HOTWIRE one room for the Friday night and two rooms for the Saturday night in one transaction? Thanks!
thereuare Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 No, you can't book 1 room for one nite and 2 rooms for the following nite, your options are:1) book 2 rooms for one, then an additional room the nite you need an additional room (either book that room direct if you must have the same hotel OR try PRICELINE / HOTWIRE if the person who is traveling both nites is willing to change hotels each nite2) book 1 room for 2 nites and 1 room for one nite in separate transactions, hoping for the same hotel for eachIn advantage of the first option both rooms are at the same hotel for the nite both are in town but the disadvantage is that one person may have to change hotels mid-stay.The advantage of the 2nd option is that nobody needs to move mid-stay, but the downside is that each person could be at a different hotel.Of course a third option is to book 2rooms/2nites and 'eat' the cost of one room sitting vacant for the nite (but will need to check if this is worthwhile vs. retail rates... it often can be, but also feels like wasted money)So we can replicate your search, for how many rooms/adults/children did you search above? Is this your preference given the options above? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
