Loving Arizona! Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 I need your help confirming the rebidding zones for a 4* in Philadelphia. I'm concerned because I have read several posts refer to six bidding zones for a 4*. Yet, I find 8 rebidding zones. Will someone confirm that the following are safe rebidding zones if I am bidding for a 4* hotel?Cherry Hill*City LineGloucester - Mt. Ephraim*AirportMuseum District*University AreaTrevoseRunnemed*(The areas with a * appear safe for a 3 1/2 star hotel. Do you mind also confirming this?)I apologize for the paranoia. I used rebidding in Phoenix last summer only to get stuck in North Scottsdale. I didn't see the resorts at the bottom of each area and resorts are considered higher than 4* hotels. By the way, are there no resorts in Philly? I don't see any zones with a resort listed? Has PL removed resorts or is it just not a resort town? One last favor to ask, what should I begin my bid with? The dates are July 3 - 4th this summer. Thanks!
Loving Arizona! Posted May 22, 2013 Author Report Posted May 22, 2013 Thank you betterbidding. I was able to use a promo code you listed for signed in members and saved $14 off the rate. $214.94 total for two nights prior to the $14 savings. There was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $95 per night on a 4* and $93 per night for a 3.5*. However, there wasn't a promo code that worked for the Express Deal for my travel dates.I used your PRICELINE link. Thanks again!
Loving Arizona! Posted May 22, 2013 Author Report Posted May 22, 2013 I ended up getting impatient and risking it. Fortunately, I won a great price. So go ahead and ignore this post, unless others may be interested in the answer. My hotel win is posted above this post. Thanks again.
