lawnsheep Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Hi,I'm looking at a $63 dollar per night, $109 avg savings hotel with a 90% recommendation on Hotwire. The only 3* hotel in the Buckhead area with a high enough price for those sorts of saving is the Wingate by Wyndham. Trip advisor says rooms are available, and the room price is $163. The only issue is Tripadvisor notes free parking while Hotwire will not show the hotel when "Free Parking" is chosen in the filters. Ideas?
AaronJB Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. The list/retail price is not the price of the underlying hotel, it's an average of comparable hotels in the area. Please provide the date/s of travel and all information regarding the listing (zone, star rating, price in USD$ before taxes/fees and full list of amenities showing with the listing) and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the listing.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
lawnsheep Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Posted May 20, 2013 I was referring to the asterisked price above the given Hotwire secret hot rate price. It says *109, and the footnote below states "*Savings based on median published rate we've found on leading retail travel sites in the last 24-48 hours for the same neighborhood, star rating, and stay dates."The date of travel is 5/26-5/27, 3*, with free breakfast, fitness center, business center, pool. Buckhead, in the Atlanta, GA area is the zone. $64 per night.
