I am looking to bid on a hotel in the London Mayfair-Soho area for May 31 to June 6. Ideally I am looking for a 5* hotel, but could be convinced to try a 4* as well. I have never used Priceline before and was hoping for some tips and starting bid suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to BetterBidding :)

The rates are on the "higher" side but not that bad for your dates. What would your budget/night be before tax/fee's 5* vs 4* hotel?

Is the Mayfair-Soho zone the only zone you're willing to stay in?

Let us know and we'll go from there.

I agree that it will likely take $200+ to be successful for a 5* hotel in the Mayfair-Soho zone (and perhaps substantially more), but if you want to give it a try using your FOUR re-bid zones, you could bid as follows:

Select 5* Mayfair Soho...

Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $180

Feel free to ask any questions (especially confirming your re-bid zones if you're new to the concept).

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
