yellowdog Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!Rates are date specific so you can't compare them. Everything is about supply and demand.Rates looks descent for your dates but I belive that you need to step up a bit if you want to stay at a 4* or would you be OK with a lower rated hotel?Let us know you max budget/night before tax/fee's. Is Boston Common - Theater District the only zone you're willing to stay in?Let us know and we'll go from there. Please use the board's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases and searchesYellowdog.

gg22 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Posted May 20, 2013 thanks for your reply, yes i will choose at least 4* my range is $120-$140 per night around boston common-theater district or fiance or copley places depends how good hotle.Anyway... please help mei will go to boston from 5/25-5/27 so time is limited.i had tried last whole night to bid using adding other zone which has lower star upto $150 per night but it is still not working.anyway thanks guys.
AaronJB Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 For these particular date/s, unfortunately a 4* will likely require more towards the $160-180 range. I don't think you're too far off, but unfortunately a 4* in these areas is going to take higher than $150.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
gg22 Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 thanks so much, is there any other way to get $150 per night. otherwise it is same as express bidding price.any suggestion?
yellowdog Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 You need to raise your budget if bidding 4* for the moment or bid on a lower rated hotel if you want to keep your $150 limit. Another option is to try for a diffrent zone?thanks so much, is there any other way to get $150 per night. otherwise it is same as express bidding price. The only 4* I see for your zone is priced $219Let us know how you want to proceed. Please use the board's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases and searchesYellowdog.
gg22 Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 is there anyway keep same zone but around $160 per night for 4*, the reason for bidding is to get cheaper hotel but good stars otherwise i will do express bid... plz help
thereuare Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 What would appear to be the Loews Boston Back Bay Hotel is offered on HOTWIRE for $170/nite and is highly rated with a 4.5/5.0 TA rating:Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower Would this be worth an extra $10/nite to have such a highly rated hotel (even if not the Loews HOTWIRE is showing the offered property has a 4.5/5.0 TA rating so you 'know' it's one that is well reviewed)... OR do you prefer to bid on PRICELINE up to $160 for any hotel in the zone? How high have you already bid for a 4* hotel in this zone?Let us know and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
