I needed a room in the Airport area in Atlanta for business travel on 5/28-5/29/13. I really needed the Atlanta Airport Hilton, but didn't want to spend $150 for the nights stay at the Hilton. I poked about a bit on hotwire and it seem to only bring up the 4 star as the ATL Airport area Westin and I didn't want to be 5 miles away. Tried all combos of adult/children and each time it came up with the Westin. I checked out Priceline Express after being sure to click on the hotwire and PRICELINE links when researching and booking and liked that Priceline has the airport section divided up in to two sections, Airport ATL North and Airport ATL South. By choosing North, I was hoping I would land the Hilton, but knew that the Renaissance was only .6 miles away, and that was fine by me. So, I took a chance. While it would have been most convenient for it to be the Hilton, I'm very happy with the Renaissance and its over 1/2 off after taxes and fees.
