Using the links provided on this site, there is a Priceline Express offer for $164 for a 4* hotel in Boston Common-Theater District. The dates are 07/04-06

Amenities Include:

If it helps it also has an icon for "Guest Favorite"

Also- I know I am traveling during the 4th of July, so I am curious if this is a good rate, or if it would make sense to try and use the bidding strategy on Priceline.

The Hyatt Regency or Revere Hotel Boston Common would be my beset guess for this one.

The price is 'ok'... there are a few HOTWIRE hotels at the 4* level around the same price and the Hyatt Regency can be booked for your dates for $195/nite and know the name and location of the hotel.

Would it help that it has a 3.5 rating on Trip Advisor and it shows a 7+ Guest Score. I would much rather book the Doubletree over Boston Park Plaza. Are there any other 3.5 start possibilities?
