jdbrum2006 Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 I'm looking to get a 4* hotel in downtown Pittsburgh for Oct. 18-20 (2 nights). The Omni William Penn is our favorite, but the Renaissance or any of the others would work too. Has anyone had success in this area?

jdbrum2006 Posted September 27, 2005 Author Report Posted September 27, 2005 We have bid 55, 60, and 65 on 4* Downtown Pittsburgh and been turned down all three times. Is it smart to be going up in these increments of 5? Frankly we dont care which hotel we get, we just want one of them. Thanks in advance for any help/
thereuare Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 At the 4* level you have seven re-bid zones available... are you familiar with and understand PRICELINE RE-BIDDING?Let us know if you understand the above and what your absolute maximum bid is (before it becomes worthwhile to look at 3* properties) and we'll then suggest a strategy for your to follow.
