missdaisy Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 4* North StripHere's the list of amenities: Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Centre, Spa Services, High-Speed Internet Access, Tennis Nearby, Business Centre. My guess is either Alladin or Paris, but I thought that Paris was considered South Strip as opposed to North Strip. Thanks!
thereuare Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Did you have any success bidding for the GOLDEN NUGGET (please follow-up that post with any success/failure you have had... or if you haven't tried at all).... we'll then take a closer look at the above. You're a long way from your original maximum amount of $125... are you now willing to go higher? What about the Monte Carlo for $175/nite? (no booking fee so would be more than $6/nite cheaper than the above Hotwire offering) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
missdaisy Posted September 15, 2005 Author Report Posted September 15, 2005 I posted my successful win of the Nugget at $50/night on the Priceline board a few days ago. Yes, $181 is out of my league, but I have raised my budget to about $150/night for the Friday and Saturday. I've just been watching the prices on Hotwire and was just curious as to the ID of this one in case the price per night falls and I am unsuccessful with bidding on Priceline, which I have been thus far.
thereuare Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Thanks... i've merged the 'help' thread with the 'win' thread so that there is continuity and other users can follow your road to success. missdaisy Posted May 3, 2006 Author Report Posted May 3, 2006 Here's a follow-up to my trip to Vegas last October/ 05. Ended up booking the Golden Nugget through Priceline for October 26 and 27 @ $50/night (my exact bidding process is listed on the priceline las vegas board), and for the remainder of the trip booked directly through the Aladdin. Aladdin happened to be having a promo special so we stayed there from Oct 28-31 for $120/night. I didn't end up using hotwire as the deal that I got through the Aladdin was better than anything I found on hotwire.
