travelingWise Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Accepted on first bid of $65.Your Offer Price: $65.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $65.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $15.68 Total Charges: $80.68 On a side point, interestingly, the first 2 rooms I booked at the airport, the rental car offers were pretty cheap, starting at $11. I tried to book my car separate, since I don't need it the day I arrive or leave, but couldn't get prices as low as I wanted. The car offers that came back with the WDW acceptance started at $29 for an economy car!!! Very weird... At these rates, I'll be better off renting directly from the companies.
thereuare Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Looks like you have a very nice stay planned... all of the hotels worked out well! The car rental prices from your previous bids may have been for airport location rentals (more competition) while your the offer received from your bid above may have been for a WDW rental (less competition... higher prices)You should be able to find a cheap rental car in Orlando.
