cartwright Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Thanks for responding! I have one more to ask about. Between the New Yorker Hotel @ $162/night and the one offered below, what would be your recommendation? Thanks.Check In/Check Out: 06/12/13 - 06/16/131 Room, 2 Adults4 StarPrice: $194/night (It has $196/night on the main list view, but changes to $194 when you click through)Area: Midtown East70% Hotwire Users Recommend (It has 80% recommend on main list, but changes to 70% when you click through)Amenities: Fitness CenterRestaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet AccessAccessible Path of TravelIn-Room AccessibilityAccessible BathroomRoll-in Shower
thereuare Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Does this MTE property also have Pet Friendly... i'm seeing 80% recommended even after i click thru. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
cartwright Posted May 17, 2013 Author Report Posted May 17, 2013 When I tried it later in the day yesterday, one that was pet friendly and at 80% recommended popped up. I'm guessing that is Doubletree Metropolitan? When I pulled it up again this morning it's back to the one that doesn't list pet friendly and is at 70%. I'll try again in the afternoon to see if the other one pops up again.

I'd be able to get the New Yorker at $162/night. Thanks.
AaronJB Posted May 18, 2013 Report Posted May 18, 2013 My guess is that this MAY be the Doubletree, as I don't think the Roosevelt is pet friendly. I can't compare hotels, but I will say I like MTE as an area.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted May 18, 2013 Report Posted May 18, 2013 The Doulbletree would be my best guess as well for the MTE property.Of the two, the Ramada Plaza New Yorker is generally reviewed more favorably. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. cartwright Posted May 28, 2013 Author Report Posted May 28, 2013 I'm still looking for one. Could you please help identify this one. 3.5 star in Midtown Central $175/night90% of Hotwire Customers recommendAmenities:Free InternetSmoke Free RoomsBusiness CenterHigh Speed Internet AccessI'm guessing Moderne. What are your thoughts?
cartwright Posted May 28, 2013 Author Report Posted May 28, 2013 I decided to go ahead and book it, and it was The Moderne. From reading the reviews, it looks like I got a great deal at $175/night. Again, the amenity list included: Free Internet, Smoke-Free Rooms, Business Center, & High Speed Internet Access.Your site has been a great resource, and I'll definitely use it again. Also, I made sure to use the HOTWIRE link at the top of the page to start my search. Thanks for all of your help!
