Let me know what you guys think. I have already used both the links for using HOTWIRE / PRICELINE. Thanks for the help!
thereuare Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!I'm not currently seeing any 4* property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
SeanDylan Posted May 15, 2013 Author Report Posted May 15, 2013 1 room 2 adults, completely default. Not quite sure why you're not seeing it. I just searched and it's still there. I don't think you're doing something right.
thereuare Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 I don't think you're doing something right.No... sometimes hotels just disappear (for various reasons) and re-appear later... i now am seeing the same hotel as you.Best guess for this property would be the Mirage or Treasure Island. Both look the same before purchase so it could be either, and while you should be prepared for either, Treasure Island is seen much more frequently so i would lean towards that one being the more likely of the two (but as noted, you should at least be prepared for either)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. SeanDylan Posted May 15, 2013 Author Report Posted May 15, 2013 Thanks for the help. I'm fairly confident it is Treasure Island. I didn't mean to sound rude or anything, I apologize if I did. I didn't know they randomly disappear and then reappear a few hours later! I did have a question though. If I were to book this, is there still a chance of potential upgrades? Whether I do the $20 tip trick or not?
thereuare Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Always a chance for an upgrade, and (especially in Vegas) chances are better with a $20 tip, but the biggest factors will be hotel occupancy levels, the front desk clerk you get upon check-in, management policy, etc. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
