I then logged out, and then back in again, to try bids for 3.5 star hotels. On the first attempt my bid was accepted at $40. The full price came to $53.49 (includes $6.24 taxes + $7.25 fee). Priceline said I saved 46%. The regular price-line price on the site said Regular $99, on sale for $74.
