HB-IWC Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 I'd like to revisit this topic and share my wonderful first priceline stay with you. Given the price I paid for this hotel stay, I didn't start off with the highest of expectations, but, following the advice of a friend, I nevertheless emailed the hotel about a week or so before and let them know my room preference (nonsmoking, king, on a high floor if possible at all), thinking it couldn't do any harm.Anyway, I was quite surprised when, upon check in, the clerk pulled out a print out of my email, and told me they were more than happy to accommodate my request, including the high floor. Already more than greatful for this great service, I was stunned to find out that the room I had been assigned was a huge suite with a seperate living room, 2 bathrooms and all the perks. I guess this is not your standard priceline treatment, but kudos to the hotel and its staff anyway for this magnificent service. I'll be off to Athens next, where I also got another fantastic priceline deal ($73 for the Marriott Ledra).
