vantrain17 Posted May 11, 2013 Report Posted May 11, 2013 Looking at booking a Waikiki 4* hotel for these dates. Very open to what hotel we stay at but DO NOT want to stay at the Waikiki Parc which is on the hotel list and by viewing Trip Advisor seems to be one of the hotels coming up frequently as a hot rate. Here are the details: $188 per nightNear Beach Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower **There is a 30 dollar resort fee per day** (this leads me to believe it would not be the Parc?)Does anybody have any advice or details on the identity of this hotel?
yellowdog Posted May 11, 2013 Report Posted May 11, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding :) Can you please confirm if this hotel is located in the Waikki Beach zone? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.Please don't copy/paste to your thread... post only the amenity names (and not the full descriptions that go along with it) as it will make your post easier for us to read and helps minimize the chance that we miss an amenity when researching your hotel.
vantrain17 Posted May 11, 2013 Author Report Posted May 11, 2013 Ok - thank you for the tips. Yes it is located in the Waikiki beach zone. It has 75% positive reviews
thereuare Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 A property with this amenity set has not yet been reported to the board. The Waikiki Parc has never been seen with a Restaurant amenity, but they do have a restaurant, so it's always possible that this amenity has been added since this property was last reported to the board. However, also note that this offer only shows 10+ reviews, so there is a good chance it is a property recently added to HOTWIRE and not yet reported to the board.Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. vantrain17 Posted May 12, 2013 Author Report Posted May 12, 2013 Thank you for your suggestion, this is what has happened. I put in for a stay 12-13 and the same hotel came up, then I put in for 18-19 and it did not, THEN I put in for 12-18 (6 days) and the same hotel came up BUT in addition to all the standard information it also provided additional information that it was a resort and oceanfront property, however all of the other information came up the same. What do you think?
