3.5* San Antonio (Downtown-Riverwalk) FAILED BID

Started at $60, got offer to try $79 so I rebid adding Boerne (only has 2.5*) at $65 and still failed.

Waited until next day and decided to stick to cheaper area with free parking. (see next post below)

Started at $55 due to previous failed attempts at lower levels the day before (started at $42, added SA airport region at $48, waited a day to figure out just what I wanted to do). Might have gotten for less, but best online rate was $104, so still a great deal.

Although the Fieta-La Cantera region is rather spread out, I ended up wtih a perfect & very convenient location for me. I was booking for an incoming guest, and this property is very close to my home and has great TA rating/reviews. Oddly enough, TA map pin shows hotel as several blocks off the interstate, when in fact it basically faces I-10! For anyone else looking, that makes for about a 20min straight shot into downtown/Riverwalk area. Plus parking out here is free, lots of good restaurants around, too.

Note: somehow in the bidding process my 5% discount (code: THANKSMOM) got lost, so I emailed PL to see if they would correct it. Not a big deal--it was a whopping $2.75.
