Priceline Hotel: Long Hotel Stay via Priceline?

I am planning a trip to Hong Kong in the coming month and it will be a 21 night stay.

I am wondering whether a long stay like this increases or decreases my chance of getting a good deal on Priceline bids. I say that because it's much easier for a hotel to have a 3 day window of room availability then 21 day window of availability, right? or would a long stay be more attractive to a hotel and hence I might be more likely to get my bid accepted?

Anyways I was just wondering if it would be to my advantage to split the stay into 2 or even 3 segments and bid each individually, of course, by doing so I know I have to move around.

It's worth trying for the complete stay as we have certainly seen wins for this length of time, but it does lessen your chances since the hotel needs to have discounted inventory for the entire length of your stay. What are the dates of your trip, desired star rating, zones, and budget?

Please update/follow-up your Priceline Car Rental thread with whatever you ended up doing for that rental... you can continue this thread for your Hong Kong and we'll use the topic title to reflect your ultimate purchase.

Thanks.
