mariamoreno Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 Hi, can you help me to identify a express deal:5 Star Hotel in Waikiki Beach Area for $279/nightGuest Score: Rated 9.0out of 10 (or higher)Guaranteed Amenities: Indoor or Outdoor PoolRestaurantBusiness CenterFitness CenterCheck In: Sat Jun 29, 2013Check Out:Wed Jul 3, 2013Choose Bed: Garden View - 2 Beds Requested. thereuare Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Royal Hawaiian or the Halekulani would be my guess, but given that the amenities above are likely present at any 5* hotel in Waikiki, i can't be certain.Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
mariamoreno Posted May 12, 2013 Author Report Posted May 12, 2013 I don't think that is Royal Hawaiian because of the mandatory fee value. Express deal mandatory fee $35, but if i want to book the Royal Hawaiian in the priceline list view the mandatory fee is $36.65 Thanks
thereuare Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 I would read into the resort fee as being that exact... one could be including tax while the other not. ;) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I have come to the conclusion that it is for the Royal Hawaiian because it is the only one of the three 5 star hotels listed (Royal Hawaiian, Trump and Halekulani) that charges a resort fee. If you do book it, could you let me know what hotel it turns out to be? I cannot book the Express Deal until after June 1st because I am waiting on a promotion code from Priceline that was given as an incentive for booking a cruise with them (but only available 3 weeks before the cruise date).
