Nice to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're happy with the results. If you don't want to do the expensive buffet at the Rio, next door is the Gold Coast which has one of the better 'locals' buffets... you won't find as extravagant of a spread as you would at the Rio, but it will also be a fraction of the cost. I went twice a few years ago and the first time there was a LOT of food that i liked and it was very good... i went back the following day and i didn't care for the selection (they will let you go in and browser before paying so you can check it out and see if the current offerings for that day are to your liking)
