RB84 Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 Please be careful!! they deceived me in the express deal with a free internet and bed choice and neither was available after contacting the hotel. I had to talk to the Priceline costumer service for over an hour and they were so rude and didn't confess that they're misleading their costumers with fake amenities. I eventually ended up canceling my reservation.
mastablastas Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 I stayed at this hotel once through PRICELINE. It is a small hotel and pretty far from everything as it is more in a business area. That is a little deceiving if priceline did that. When I got there, we got such a cramped room where the bed took up the whole space, but when we went back and asked for a bigger room they accommodated us without extra charge and it was pretty nice.Question, did priceline allow you to cancel or was it the hotel?
thereuare Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 RB84,Welcome to BetterBidding! Was this a PRICELINE EXPRESS offer where the price was given to you OR was it one that you bid for and 'named your own price' and the guaranteed amenities were shown next to the star rating? If PRICELINE EXPRESS do you recall the FULL LIST of amenities that were associated with this property?mastablastas,It would be appreciated if you replied to your messages.Thanks. mastablastas Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 I did on May 5. If you're referring to the generic message when you sign up I didn't know that needed replying to. Is that what you're referring to?
RB84 Posted May 11, 2013 Author Report Posted May 11, 2013 that was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal I'm sorry I don't remember the full list of amenities shown but I'm sure of the free wifi and on the bottom they said bed choices available.
RB84 Posted May 11, 2013 Author Report Posted May 11, 2013 Priceline allowed the cancellation (full refund) there was no other option.
thereuare Posted May 11, 2013 Report Posted May 11, 2013 So that you're not surprised on any future purchases, the free wi-fi designation is listed since (i believe) this property offers free wireless internet in the lobby (it's paid if you want internet in your guest room) and the 'bed choice' is an option that needs to be selected during the check-out process on PRICELINE... not for you to call the hotel afterwards and make the request; sometimes the bed choice you want may cost more than the price shown which is for 'standard' room, but this will be reflected in your purchase when you make that selection.Glad to see you were able to resolve the issue with PRICELINE to your satisfaction.
