Hello Forum members!

It's my first post so might as well break the ice. I'm looking for a hotel room in Orlando on 26th to 27th. It doesn't matter Priceline (used before) or Hotwire (haven't tried)

-either 3.5 to 4 star hotel

-Seaworld location, I-Drive North or South

-two beds

I'm not really picky but out to get a good deal so it's nice to have a surprise random hotel :)

Welcome to BetterBidding :)

Is your stay for the month of May? If you're visiting Sea World should you focus on the South zone.

two beds
Note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, which means you may receive a room with only one bed and the hotel could assign you a room with only one bed. You could request a room with two beds, but the hotel could be unable, or unwilling, to accommodate your request... or charge an additional fee if they are willing to accommodate you request. How big is your party?

HOTWIRE guarantees sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search... this often means two beds in the room, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc.

Please also let us know your budget before tax/fee's and we'll take a look at this

Yup, that's right my stay is in May 26 to 27th aka Memorial Day.

It's a party of four people just my wife and I along with my mom and sister. I'll keep my search only to Seaworld- I Drive South.

I don't really have a budget but might as well throw in a number.. say 50 bucks but with after taxes and everything I would try not to pay no more than 80 bucks.

oh and I forgot to add I'm partial towards Embassy suites since they tend to have larger rooms for larger parties. If it was just my wife and I, it wouldn't matter to me.

See the comments in the 2nd post above... given that you'll need quad occupancy, are you willing to take the risk of using PRICELINE and receiving only one bed OR do you prefer to use HOTWIRE and search for quad occupancy (which will have sleeping accommodations for everyone included in your search, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway, etc)

Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.

Ok, So I went ahead and used the site's HOTWIRE link and I got a 3.5 star hotel.

3.5 star in Downtown Disney Lake Buena Area.

$85 per night. Buena Vista Suites.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this property since it includes breakfast and the rooms are big for 4 adults. I half expected to get the Embassy Suites. But anyways here is the list of amenities to add to the hotel list.
